Gigs in August

SITE NEWS:
Things have been changing rapidly around GJ central. I got rid of the gigs page. It was just too hard to maintain. Gigs are listed here and on the audio page (AKA our myspace since their player works so much better than any other I've seen).

BAND NEWS:
I have a new bass player and drummer! The session guys Ric and Pete that I was using were just too busy and too far away to maintain a steady gig and rehearsal schedule. They will appear on the forthcoming Gearjammers CD though. Meanwhile don't miss Ric's Not Dead Yet tribute and Pete's Gravity Krush when they roll through your town. Meanwhile the new guys and I have been tearing it up around town. Fagan's and J.C. Fogerty's were packed and we knocked them out. Hopefully y'all can make the next show!

Ray LaBella on bass
Ray, a local multi-instrumentalist and writer completely left the music seen in the late eighties to get a "real job" and raise a family. It wasn't until 2000 that he started playing bass in his local church band. Rayhas been working with Lenny Post at Hickory studios and will be releasing his first solo CD in 2007.

Chris Hunter on drums
Chris is a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He is currently a public school music teacher in a suburb just outside NYC. He's a very groove oriented player that lives in the pocket and keeps The Gearjammers jamming.

Let me just say right here how much these guys kick ass. Sensitive and dynamic players, they really carry the groove and let me do my thing as a vocalist and guitar player. Please join me in welcoming them aboard!
